The report claims, citing sources, Miller tried to check in to a hotel Sunday night and was told all the rooms were full. He returned Monday morning, knocked on a door, and was told by the person inside that he had the wrong room.
What happened next seems to be a mystery, but the report states Miller started assaulting the person in the room, as well as their 70-year-old father, who was also in the room. The report claims the 70-year-old man suffered broken bones after being punched in the face and had to be sent to the hospital along with his son.

“The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the media report regarding Bruce Miller,” the team said in a statement. “We are gathering the relevant facts of this matter and will continue to monitor the situation.”

This would not be Miller’s first incident with the law. Last year, he pleaded no-contest to a misdemeanor domestic violence charge against his ex-fiancee and was ordered to court-mandated counseling. He was accused of shoving his ex-fiancee and smashing her cell phone, although he denied any physical contact.

Miller previously played for the 49ers as a fullback, although he switched to tight end this offseason to better fit Chip Kelly’s offense.
