49Ers Vs. Broncos Props In Manning We Trust

To add to the game’s entertainment, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook is offering a number of props, including 302.5 gross passing yards by Peyton Manning.

When it comes to Peyton Manning, the initial reaction may be to bet the OVER on whatever prop is being offered. He’s earned that respect so nobody can blame the bettors who subscribe to the strategy. With that said, there are reasons to suggest the UNDER is the way to go this time around. Hear us out.

For starters, while Manning is averaging 306 passing yards per game, he’s gone OVER 302.5 in only two of five games this season, including a 303-yard effort in overtime against the Seahawks.

Secondly, the 49ers are second in the league in pass defense, allowing 207.3 yards per game through the air. Though, they haven’t seen these Broncos yet.

And finally, if the Niners have their way, it’s reasonable to expect them to try and pound the rock in an effort to play “keep away”.

The Fantasy Source staff has Manning ranked as its No. 1 quarterback this week, so they’re very bullish on No. 18. We’re on board with the high expectations for Manning, but we just want to encourage caution before making an aggressive play on the OVER 302.5 gross passing yards.
