49Ers Will Target Rgiii After Unloading Colin Kaepernick Per Report

Per the report:

Many were excited to see what Kelly would do with Colin Kaepernick, but he’s reportedly demanded to be moved and has been on the trading block this offseason. He has been rumored to the Broncos and Browns, and once San Francisco is able to find a suitor it plans to target RGIII.

Griffin should be an interesting project for Kelly, who worked with mobile quarterbacks at Oregon.

Of course, RGIII will first have to prove he’s capable of being a starter again. He sat out all of last season, and played sparingly during 2014. His history of injuries have to be a concern, but it’s obviously a risk the 49ers are comfortable taking.
