From a press release, it seems each episode will feature a recap of one of Chris Harrison’s favorite seasons. The drama will be outlined, and cast will speak with Harrison about where they’re at now and how their life has changed since filming.
“Each Monday, directly from the Bachelor mansion, Chris Harrison will reach into the vault and bring back one of his favorite seasons, highlighting some of the most devastating rose ceremonies, passionate proposals, unexpected new arrivals, dramatic meltdowns, biggest breakups, and, of course, the most romantic moments,” the press release explained.
“The weekly retrospectives will also include virtual catch-ups with fan-favorite Bachelor alumni, checking on the latest in their lives after their final rose.”
10 episodes will be featured. It’s unclear if any of the recaps will feature Bachelor spinoffs like Bachelor In Paradise, Bachelor Pad or Bachelor Winter Games.
It’s likely one of the most dramatic recaps will allow a bit of spotlight time for future Bachelorette Clare Crawley, even though her full season has yet to film. She fostered one of the most confrontational franchise moments on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of The Bachelor.
Crawley famously told off Galavis when he chose not to propose to her because he didn’t want his child to have a stepmother who engaged in intimate moments with him on TV. Replaying the scene would give Bachelor newbies a perfect recap and an introduction to Crawley before diving into the full Bachelorette season, whenever that may be. It would also be undoubtedly interesting to hear what Galavis is up to after becoming one of Bachelor Nation’s least-favorite rose holders in the series’ history.
There’s still no word on when filming for The Bachelorette will kick off, though ABC has assured fans Crawley will have her chance at finding love. There’s also no official update on Bachelor In Paradise, and if it would be rescheduled, or skipped entirely for 2020.
Harrison has been open about the ongoing corporate conversations. “Unless it’s safe and unless we can do it right, there’s no chance we’re doing it at all,” he told Glamour of Crawley’s season.
Fans won’t have to wait too long for the memories to come flooding back. Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable — Ever! will premiere June 8 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
